“So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”” John 20:21

Question 1: Jesus knew who He was sent to. Who have you personally been “sent” to? Give examples in your job, school, friend group, etc.

Jesus was filled by the H.S.
    We are to be filled with the H.S.
Jesus was led by the H.S.
    We are to be led by the H.S.
Jesus was empowered by the H.S.
    We are to be empowered by the H.S.
Jesus was anointed by the H.S.
    We are to be anointed by the H.S.

Question 2: Jesus was intentional about continually being filled by the Holy Spirit. What are you intentionally doing to be filled by the Holy Spirit in your own life? Are there things in your schedule or priorities that you need to adjust?

Question 3: Are Sunday mornings your only source of spiritual food? What’s the next step in becoming a self-feeder?

When he looked out over the crowds, his heart broke. Matthew 9:36

Question 4: Who does your heart break for and how have you reached out in compassion to those people? What has prevented you from reaching out in compassion?

But when He sees the crowd of people, He has compassion on them and serves them.  With all those people coming to hear Him; it is not about Him, it is more about them.

Question 5: We don’t want to be leaders that neglect our primary priorities, such as family, however we don’t want to become selfish and never sacrifice our time or energy. How can we focus on WE more than ME in a healthy, life-giving manner? 

When he saw them coming, he was overcome with pity and healed their sick. Matthew 14:14

Question 6: Compassion is what moved Jesus to action. With Jesus being the ultimate example, on a scale of 1-10 how compassionate are you?

Question 7: Knowing there is always room to improve, what are some practical ways that you can grow in compassion for people?

Question 8: One of Victory Faith’s main values is “generations” - how can we teach the following generations to walk in compassion toward other people?
